90 Years (90 Lat)

Dzisiaj miało miejsce wyjątkowe wydarzenie: wierzący z kościołów z całej Polski zgromadzili się w Sali Kongresowej w Warszawie, by obchodzić 90-lecie Wspólnoty Kościołów Chrystusowych w RP (patrz: chrystusowi.pl). Cudownie było uwielbiać, modlić się i mieć ze sobą społeczność. Dziękujemy Bogu za Jego wierność w przeszłości i ufamy, że dokona wielkich rzeczy w przyszłości.

W tym tygodniu, módlmy się za kościoły w całej Polsce. Módlmy się, aby liderzy doznali zachęty; aby przewodzili z odwagą i pokorą; aby jedność i miłość występowały w obfitości. Módlmy się, aby Duch Święty wypełnił każdy kościół mocą, radością i życiem. Oddajmy się na nowo Jezusowi, Głowie Kościoła (Kolosan 1;18). Niech każdy z nas zwróci swój wzrok na Niego, bo On jest Królem i wkrótce nadejdzie! Maranatha!

Today was a very special event as believers from churches throughout Poland gathered at Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw to celebrate 90 years of the Christian Church - Churches of Christ in Poland (see: http://www.chrystusowi.pl/). It was wonderful to worship, pray, and fellowship together. We are thanking God for His faithfulness in the past and trusting Him for great things in the future.

This week, let us pray for the churches throughout Poland. Let us pray that church leaders will be encouraged; that they will lead with boldness and humility; that unity and love will abound. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will fill each church with power, joy, and life. Let us re-commit ourselves to Jesus, the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18). May each of us fix our eyes on Him, for He is the King and He is coming soon! Maranatha!

Ostróda Camp

W ten weekend kilkanaście osób zgromadziło się tutaj w Ostródzie, by świętować 40-lecie działalności ośrodka Ostróda Camp w służbie dla Bożego Królestwa w północno-wschodniej Polsce. Było wiele świadectw i dobrze było słyszeć, jak Bóg zmienił życie wiele osób w tym miejscu. Kilku przywódców współczesnych polskich kościołów oddało swoje życie dla Boga, kiedy byli młodzi i uczestniczyli w obozie. A harmonogram w Ostróda Camp jest znów pełny tego lata. Przyjedzie tu wielu młodych ludzi, nie tylko z Polski, ale też z Izraela, Rosji i innych krajów.

Modląc się w tym tygodniu, wspominajmy wiele chrześcijańskich obozów i innych ewangelicznych przedsięwzięć, które są zaplanowane na to lato w Polsce. Módlmy się, aby wiele dzieci, młodych i dorosłych spotkało Boga. Módlmy się, aby radość, pokój i miłość Boża wypełniała w obfitości każde miejsce i by wielu ludzi odnalazło nową nadzieję dla swojego życia. Niech
Jezus będzie uwielbiony we wszystkim tego lata!

This weekend several people gathered here in Ostróda to celebrate 40 years that Ostróda Camp has served God's kingdom in NE Poland. There were many testimonies and it was good to hear how God has changed so many lives in this place. Several leaders in the churches of Poland today gave their lives to God when they were young people attending this camp. And the summer schedule is full again this summer at Ostróda Camp. Many young people will be coming, not only from Poland, but from Israel, Russia, and other countries.

As we pray this week, let's pray for the many Christian camps and evangelistic outreaches that are planned for this summer in Poland. Let us pray that many children, youth, and adults will encounter God this summer. Let us pray that the joy, peace, and love of God will abound in each place and that many people will find new hope for their lives. May Jesus be praised in all things this summer!

Psalm 96

W tym tygodniu, modląc się razem za Polskę, chciałabym poprosić, abyście dołączyli do mnie w czytaniu Psalmu 96 dla naszego Pana. Napisałam go poniżej w taki sposób, abyśmy wypowiadali go bezpośrednio do Boga. Czy moglibyście znaleźć dziś (poniedziałek) trochę czasu, by odczytać głośno ten psalm dla Boga? W ten sposób będziemy wypowiadać chwałę dla Niego przez cały dzień. Niech będzie to miłym brzmieniem dla Boga, gdy Jego ludzie w Polsce wzniosą swoje głosy, by Go chwalić.

Śpiewajcie Panu pieśń nową,
Śpiewaj Panu, cała ziemio!
Śpiewamy Tobie, Panie, błogosławimy imię Twoje,
Zwiastujemy co dzień zbawienie Twoje!
Głosimy wśród narodów chwałę Twoją,

This week as we pray together for Poland, I would like to ask you to join me in reading Psalm 96 to the Lord. I have written it below in such a way that we are speaking directly to God. Would you please find some time today (Monday) to read this Psalm out loud to God? In this way we will be speaking His praise together throughout the day. May it be a sweet sound to our God as His people in Poland lift their voices in praise before Him.

Psalm 96
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
We sing to You, Lord; we bless Your name.
We proclaim the good news of Your salvation from day to day.
We declare Your glory among the nations, Your wonders among all peoples.
For You are great and greatly to be praised.
You are to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but You made the heavens.
Honor and majesty are before You;
Strength and beauty are in Your sanctuary.
We, the families of the peoples, give You glory and strength.
We give You the glory due Your name.
We bring an offering and come into Your courts.
We worship You, Lord, in the beauty of holiness!
We tremble before You, along with all the earth.
We say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.
The world also is firmly established; it shall not be moved.

David i ja cieszymy się bardzo, że możemy znowu być w Polsce. Teraz jesteśmy w Ostródzie, z 35 osobami z Izraela, które przeżyły Holocaust. To wielka przyjemność poznać tych ludzi i usłyszeć ich historie. Wielu z nich są profesorami, naukowcami, ludźmi dobrze wykształconymi. Naszym pragnieniem jest, aby doświadczyli wielkiego błogosławieństwa w czasie pobytu w Polsce. Modlimy się o mądrość w dzieleniu się prawdą i miłość o Mesjaszu z tymi drogimi ludźmi.

Bracia! życzenie serca mego i modlitwa do Boga za Izraela jest ku zbawieniu.

David and I are happy to be in Poland once again. Now we are in Ostróda with 35 Holocaust survivors who are from Israel. It is a great pleasure to meet these people and to hear their stories. Many are professors, scientists, and highly educated. It is our desire that they will experience great blessing while in Poland. We are praying for wisdom as we share the truth and love of our Messiah with these beloved people.

Brothers! The desire of my heart and prayer to God is for the salvation of Israel (Romans 10:1).
