Thankful (Wdzięczna)

David i ja jesteśmy teraz na konferencji misjonarzy w Illinois i cieszymy się wspólnym czasem z misjonarzami z całego świata. Dziś wieczorem przypomniano nam, że odsetek ewangelicznych chrześcijan w Europie jest mniejszy niż na innych kontynentach. Innymi słowy, Europa jest wielkim polem misyjnym. Zgromadziliśmy się dziś na wielkim stadionie, by modlić się w małych grupach za Polskę i inne europejskie kraje. Modliliśmy się o przebudzenie. Modliliśmy się o to, by było więcej pracowników. Modliliśmy się, by wierzący w Europie byli zachęceni w wierze.

W tym tygodniu tutaj w USA obchodzimy Święto Dziękczynienia. Kiedy myślę o wszystkich rzeczach, za które jestem wdzięczna, myślę o każdym z Was. Jestem wdzięczna, że dla Europy wciąż jest nadzieja, dzięki takim ludziom jak Wy, którzy kochają Boga i są światłem Jezusa. Wiem, ze nie jest łatwo prowadzić chrześcijańskie życie, dlatego podziwiam Was za wierność i wytrwałość. Kiedy myślę o Polsce i o wielkim zadaniu, jakie jest przed nami - może to wydawać się przygnębiające. Ale wtedy myślę o każdym z Was i czuję się zachęcona. Prawdziwie dziękuję Bogu za Was.

"Dziękujemy Bogu zawsze za was wszystkich, wspominając was w modlitwach naszych nieustannie" (I Tesaloniczan 1;2).

David and I are at a missionary convention in Illinois and are enjoying meeting missionaries from around the world. Tonight we were reminded that the percentage of evangelical believers in Europe is less than in any other continent. In other words, Europe is a great mission field. Tonight in this large stadium, we gathered in small groups to pray for Poland and other European countries. We prayed for revival. We prayed for more workers. We prayed for the believers in Europe to be encouraged in their faith.

This week is our Thanksgiving holiday here in the States. As I think of the many things I am thankful for, I think of each of you. I am thankful that there is still hope for Europe because of people like you who love God and shine the light of Jesus. I know it is not easy to live the Christian life, so I honor you for your faithfulness and perseverance. When I think of Poland and the great task before us, it can be overwhelming. But then I think of each of you and I am encouraged. I truly thank God for you.
