Season for Love (Sezon na Miłość)

Dave i ja jesteśmy w Stanach zaledwie przez 3 tygodnie i już
uczestniczyliśmy w 3 weselach. Również w Polsce w ten weekend odbył się
ślub naszych drogich przyjaciół, a także w przyszłym tygodniu będzie
miało miejsce kolejne wyjątkowe wesele. To musi być sezon na miłość. :)

Małżeństwo jest wspaniałą instytucją stworzoną przez Boga i będącą
pięknym obrazem ilustrującym zażyłą relację między Jezusem a Kościołem
(czytaj uważnie Efezjan 5; 22-29). Wzajemna miłość i szacunek pomiędzy
małżonkami może być potężnym świadectwem dla otaczających nas ludzi.

Módlmy się w tym tygodniu za małżeństwa w Polsce. Módlmy się za
nowożeńców, aby to Jezus był centrum ich małżeństw. Módlmy się, aby Bóg
wzmacniał małżeństwa, które są słabe, uzdrawiał te, które są złamane i
sprawiał, aby miłość i oddanie pomiędzy małżonkami były coraz głębsze.
Módlmy się za rozbite domy, rodziców samotnie wychowujących dzieci oraz
za tych, którzy opłakują stratę współmałżonka. Módlmy się za młodych
ludzi, którzy poszukują partnerów, aby kierowali się Bożymi standardami
i nie zadowalali się niczym innym.

O, Boże, przynieś uzdrowienie i odbudowę dla rodzin w całej Polsce.
Prosimy, abyś wzmacniał małżeństwa, aby mogły być obrazem Twojej
wielkiej i pełnej poświęcenia miłości.

Dave and I have been in the States for only 3 weeks and have already
participated in 3 weddings. And in Poland this weekend was the wedding of
our dear friends, plus next weekend another special wedding will take place.
It must be the season for love. :)

Marriage is an amazing institution created by God to be a beautiful picture
illustrating the intimate relationship between Jesus and the Church (read
carefully Ephesians 5:22-29). As a husband and wife love and respect one
another it can be a powerful testimony to all those around.

Let us pray this week for marriages in Poland. Let us pray for newly married
couples that Jesus will be the center of their marriage. Let us pray that God
will strengthen marriages that are weak, restore marriages that are broken,
and bring a deeper level of love and commitment between husbands and wives. Let us pray for broken homes, for single parents, for those grieving the loss of a spouse. Let us pray for young people as they search for a mate, that they will set godly standards and settle for nothing less.

O God, please bring healing and restoration to families throughout Poland. We ask that you would strengthen marriages so they may be a picture of your great and sacrificial love.
