Consumed with Zeal (Pochłonięci przez Zapał)

W tym tygodniu razem z rodziną jesteśmy u naszej córki (Kezia) w Kansas City.
Międzynarodowy Dom Modlitwy (IHOP) jest gospodarzem specjalnej konferencji
poświęconej modlitwie i uwielbieniu, zatytułowanej "OneThing" ("JedynaRzecz").
25 tysięcy młodych dorosłych osób zgromadziło się tutaj, by wielbić Jezusa i
na nowo oddać swoje życie jako w pełni Mu poświęcone.

Temat przewodni konferencji brzmi "Pochłonięci przez Zapał". Jak napisano na
stronie internetowej IHOP (www.ihop.org): "Stoimy teraz w przełomowym punkcie
historii. Duch Święty nawiedza Swoich ludzi mocą, kiedy powstaje pokolenie
pochłonięte Bożym zapałem. Zapałem, by widzieć imię Jezusa rozprzestrzeniające
się w chwale po ziemi. Zapałem, by ujrzeć przebudzenie w Kościele. Zapałem, by
widzieć panującą sprawiedliwość. Zapałem, by widzieć wielkie plony dusz".

I to jest nasza modlitwa za Polskę w 2011 roku – niech Boże imię będzie poważane,
niech Kościół dostąpi ożywienia; niech pojedyncze jednostki, jak i całe
społeczeństwo zostaną przemienione na chwałę Boga!

Dziękuję, że wiernie modlicie się i trwacie w poście ze mną i Davidem. Módlmy się
dalej z jeszcze większa pasją. Nie czujmy się zmęczeni. Pobudzajmy się nawzajem do
miłości i dobrych uczynków, widząc że Dzień się przybliża (Hebrajczyków 10;24-25).

This week my family is in Kansas City with our daughter, Kezia. The International House of Prayer (IHOP) is hosting a special conference for prayer and worship called "OneThing." 25,000 young adults from all over the world have gathered here to give praise to Jesus and to re-commit themselves to a life fully devoted to Him.

The theme of the conference is "Consumed with Zeal." As written on their website (www.ihop.org): "Right now, we stand at a critical juncture in history. All across the earth, the Holy Spirit is visiting His people with power as He raises up a generation consumed with God’s zeal. Zeal to see the fame of Jesus’ name go forth in the earth. Zeal to see revival in the Church. Zeal to see justice established. Zeal to see a great harvest of souls."

And that is our prayer for Poland in 2011 -- may Jesus' name be held in high honor, may the Church be revived; may individual lives and all of society be changed to the glory of God!

Thank you for faithfully praying and fasting with David and me. May we continue to pray with even greater passion. Let us not grow weary. May we spur one another on to love and good deeds as we see the Day approaching! (Heb. 10:24-25)
