Simple Truth (Prosta Prawda)

W obecnych dniach, kiedy świat wydaje się tak skomplikowany, a wiele spraw jest tak złożonych, dobrze jest przypomnieć sobie prostą prawdę. W tym tygodniu czytałam 3 rozdział I listu Jana. Jan opisuje, co zadawala Boga i w wersecie 23. po prostu mówi, co jest Jego nakazem:

1)wierzyć w imię Bożego Syna, Jezusa Mesjasza
2)kochać się nawzajem

I to wszystko. Jeśli wierzymy, że ten Żyd, który chodził, nauczając i żyjąc według Tory jest prawdziwie Synem Bożym – i jeśli miłujemy się nawzajem (co jest możliwe tylko wtedy, gdy Duch Boży mieszka w nas) – wówczas mieszkamy w Bogu, a On w nas (I Jana 3; 23-24).

O, Boże, niech Polacy uwierzą w Twojego Syna i niech nie będą zwiedzeni przez oszustwo człowieka! Obyśmy kochali się nawzajem mocniej i mocniej! ... modlimy się ze względu na Twe królestwo!

In this day when the world seems so complicated and the issues so complex, it is refreshing to be reminded of simple truth. This week I was reading in I John chapter 3. John is describing what is pleasing to God and in verse 23 John simply tells us what God's command is:

1) believe on the name of God's Son, Jesus the Messiah
2) love one another

That's it. If we believe that this Jewish man who came teaching and living out the Torah is truly the Son of God -- and if we love one another (which is only possible when the Spirit of God lives in us) -- then we abide in Him and He in us (I John 3:23-24).

O God, may the people of Poland believe in Your Son and not be swayed by the deception of man! May we love one another more and more! ... for the sake of Your kingdom we pray!
