Może wziąć martwe serce i uczynić je żywym.
Proszę, Boże… zmień serca Polaków.
Proszę, Boże… zacznij ode mnie.
(Módlmy się nadal także za Haiti. Módlmy się, aby ich potrzeby mogły być spełnione. Niech łaska i moc Boża przyniosą uzdrowienie i trwałą, duchową przemianę do tego zniszczonego kraju.)
God can change hearts.
He can take a hard heart and make it soft.
He can take a broken heart and make it whole.
He can take a weak heart and make it strong.
He can take a doubting heart and make it sure.
He can take a cold heart and make it hot.
He can take a dead heart and make it alive.
Please God ... change the hearts of the Polish people.
Please God ... begin with me.
(Also, let us continue to pray for Haiti. Let us pray that their needs will be met. May the mercy and power of God bring healing and lasting spiritual transformation to this devastated country.)

For the Youth (Za Młodzież)
W tym tygodniu oglądałam zwiastuny dwóch polskich filmów: "Świnki" i "Galerianki". Moje serce jest zasmucone, kiedy myślę o tych młodych ludziach, którzy są gotowi sprzedawać samych siebie, by zarobić pieniądze. Tak, jest to prawdziwą troską, że część polskiej młodzieży zatraca poczucie moralności, ale jeszcze gorsza jest tragedia, że ich życie jest niszczone. Gdyby tylko mogli poznać Jezusa - wspaniałego Człowieka, który kocha ich silną i niegasnącą miłością - gdyby byli Nim zafascynowani, rzeczy tego świata zbladłyby w porównaniu z Nim. Proszę, dołączcie do mnie i Dave'a, gdy będziemy się modlić w tym tygodniu za młodzież w Polsce. Niech Bóg ochrania ich od ataków Szatana i intryg złych ludzi. Niech wypełni ich głodem tego, co "prawdziwe" i "wieczne" w życiu. Niech da im prawdziwych przyjaciół, którzy będą ich kochać i wskażą na Jezusa.
Nadal dodawajmy sobie nawzajem otuchy w miłości i dobrych uczynkach, widząc że ten Dzień się przybliża (Hebrajczyków 10;25). Módlmy się również za Haiti.
This week I watched the trailers for two Polish movies (2009): "Piggies" (Swinki) and "Mall Girls" (Galerianki). My heart was grieved as I thought about these young people who are willing to sell themselves in order to make money. Yes, it is a serious concern that some of the youth in Poland are losing a sense of morality, but even more than that is the tragedy that their lives are being destroyed. If only they could meet Jesus -- the glorious Man who loves them with an intense and passionate love -- and be so fascinated with Him that the things of the world completely fade in comparison. Please join Dave and me as we pray for the youth of Poland. May God protect them from Satan's attack and the schemes of evil men. May God fill them with a hunger for the "real" and "eternal" things in life. May He provide them with true friends who will love them and point them to Jesus.
Let us continue to encourage one another in love and good deeds as we see the Day approaching - Heb. 10:25. And, of course, let us also pray for Haiti.

Power in the Cross (Moc w krzyżu)
Czytałam w polskiej prasie o kontrowersyjnym wyroku Trybunału Konstytucyjnego, który wymaga usunięcia krzyży ze ścian publicznych szkół i urzędów. Widzę, że stanowi to ważną kwestię w Polsce, zarówno pod względem religijnym, jak i narodowym.
Myślę, że każdy z nas zgodziłby się, że to, co liczy się najbardziej, to aby Polacy mieli żywą relację z Jezusem, a Jego śmierć i zmartwychwstanie uczyniły prawdziwą przemianę w ich życiu. A więc, najpierw módlmy się, aby symbol krzyża w Polsce reprezentował żywą wiarę w żywego Boga. To nasza ogromna modlitwa za Polskę. O, Boże, czy obudzisz Kościół w Polsce? Nie chcemy mieć opinii, że jesteśmy żywi, gdy tak naprawdę jesteśmy martwi (Obj. św. Jana 3;1-2). O, Boże, tchnij życie w Twój Kościół!
Módlmy się również, aby Polska stanowiła światło dla całej Europy. Gdy ciemność się wzmaga, niech ma odwagę, pokorę i mądrość, by być przywódcą, który chodzi w świetle prawdy. Niech jej tożsamość nie będzie oparta jedynie na religijnych tradycjach, ale na głębokiej miłości do Boga i Jego Królestwa. O, Boże, czy użyjesz Polski, by spełnić swoje cele w Europie?

I have been reading in the Polish news about the controversial verdict of the European Tribunal requiring the removal of crosses from public schools and offices. I realize this is such an important issue in Poland, with both religious and national significance.
I think each of us would agree that what matters most is that the Polish people will have a vibrant relationship with Jesus and that His death and resurrection will make a real difference in their lives. So, first let us pray that the symbol of the cross in Poland will represent a living faith in a living God. This is a huge prayer for Poland. O God, will you wake up the Church in Poland? We don't want to have a reputation for being alive, while actually we are dead (Rev. 3:1-2). Breathe life into your Church, O God!
Let us also pray that Poland will stand as a light for all of Europe. As darkness increases, may she have the courage, humility, and wisdom to be a leader who walks in the light of truth. May her identity be based not on religious tradition alone, but on a deep love for God and His Kingdom. O God, will you use Poland to advance your purposes in Europe?

More Than Ever (Bardziej Niż Kiedykolwiek)
Wraz z początkiem 2010 roku czujmy się zobowiązani bardziej niż kiedykolwiek, aby być ludźmi modlitwy i postu. Przez moc Ducha Bożego poświęćmy się na nowo Bogu Izraela i Jego Synowi, Jezusowi Mesjaszowi.
Bóg Izraela jest jedynym Bogiem. Nie ma żadnego innego. Nie jest on jak martwi bogowie. Tak jak czytamy w ks. Jeremiasza, "...innym niż one jest dział Jakuba: On jest bowiem stwórcą wszystkiego,a Izrael jest dziedzicznym jego plemieniem, jego imię Pan Zastępów." (Ks. Jeremiasza 51;19).
Cała chwałą należy do Jego Syna, "... I od Jezusa Chrystusa, który jest świadkiem wiernym, pierworodnym z umarłych i władcą nad królami ziemskimi.." (Obj. św. Jana 1;5).
Módlmy się, by każdy mężczyzna, kobieta i dziecko w Polsce wzywali imienia Pana i znaleźli zbawienie w Jego imieniu. Niech Jezus będzie wywyższony w Polsce!!
As 2010 begins, let us commit ourselves more than ever before to be people of prayer and fasting. By the power of the Spirit of God, let us devote ourselves anew to the God of Israel and to His Son, Jesus the Messiah.

The God of Israel is the only God. There is no other. He is not like the man-made gods. As we read in Jeremiah, “…the Portion of Jacob is not like them, for He is the Maker of all things; and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance. The Lord of Hosts is His name.” (Jer. 51:19).
All honor belongs to His Son, “…Jesus, the Messiah, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth...” (Rev. 1:5)
Let us pray that every man, woman, and child in Poland will call upon the name of the Lord and find salvation in His name. May Jesus be exalted in Poland!!
