Czytałam w polskiej prasie o kontrowersyjnym wyroku Trybunału Konstytucyjnego, który wymaga usunięcia krzyży ze ścian publicznych szkół i urzędów. Widzę, że stanowi to ważną kwestię w Polsce, zarówno pod względem religijnym, jak i narodowym.
Myślę, że każdy z nas zgodziłby się, że to, co liczy się najbardziej, to aby Polacy mieli żywą relację z Jezusem, a Jego śmierć i zmartwychwstanie uczyniły prawdziwą przemianę w ich życiu. A więc, najpierw módlmy się, aby symbol krzyża w Polsce reprezentował żywą wiarę w żywego Boga. To nasza ogromna modlitwa za Polskę. O, Boże, czy obudzisz Kościół w Polsce? Nie chcemy mieć opinii, że jesteśmy żywi, gdy tak naprawdę jesteśmy martwi (Obj. św. Jana 3;1-2). O, Boże, tchnij życie w Twój Kościół!
Módlmy się również, aby Polska stanowiła światło dla całej Europy. Gdy ciemność się wzmaga, niech ma odwagę, pokorę i mądrość, by być przywódcą, który chodzi w świetle prawdy. Niech jej tożsamość nie będzie oparta jedynie na religijnych tradycjach, ale na głębokiej miłości do Boga i Jego Królestwa. O, Boże, czy użyjesz Polski, by spełnić swoje cele w Europie?
W krzyżu Jezusa jest moc (I Koryntian 1;18, Rzymian 1;16). Niech zbawienne przesłanie krzyża przenika całą Polskę - nie tylko w formie wieszania krucyfiksów na ścianach, ale w bardzo realny sposób, poruszający głęboko serca mężczyzn i kobiet i zmieniający ich życie na zawsze.

I have been reading in the Polish news about the controversial verdict of the European Tribunal requiring the removal of crosses from public schools and offices. I realize this is such an important issue in Poland, with both religious and national significance.
I think each of us would agree that what matters most is that the Polish people will have a vibrant relationship with Jesus and that His death and resurrection will make a real difference in their lives. So, first let us pray that the symbol of the cross in Poland will represent a living faith in a living God. This is a huge prayer for Poland. O God, will you wake up the Church in Poland? We don't want to have a reputation for being alive, while actually we are dead (Rev. 3:1-2). Breathe life into your Church, O God!
Let us also pray that Poland will stand as a light for all of Europe. As darkness increases, may she have the courage, humility, and wisdom to be a leader who walks in the light of truth. May her identity be based not on religious tradition alone, but on a deep love for God and His Kingdom. O God, will you use Poland to advance your purposes in Europe?
