Taste the Grace (Skosztujcie łaski)

Oto modlitwa za Polaków, którą Bóg codziennie wkłada w moje serce: niech "rozkoszują się łaską" Boga.

To wspaniała prawda, że chrześcijaństwo nie opiera się na tym, co ROBIMY, ale na tym, co Jezus JUŻ ZROBIŁ. On jest naszym najwyższym kapłanem, który przelał swoją krew, abyśmy mogli wchodzić w samą obecność Bożą (Hebrajczyków 10;19-22). Mamy nieograniczony dostęp do Króla wszechświata w każdej chwili dnia. Zasłona jest rozdarta -- możemy cieszyć się wspaniałą relacją z Bogiem, naszym Ojcem. Nie musimy się troszczyć i zdobywać swojego zbawienia. Jesteśmy zbawieni przez łaskę (Efezjan 2;8-9), możliwą dzięki Jezusowi, który kocha nas głęboką i trwałą miłością. Alleluja!

Kiedy rozkoszujesz się Bożą łaską, Twoje serce topnieje i Jego łaska Cię przytłacza. Właśnie o to modlę się dla każdego Polaka i Polki, chłopca i dziewczyny. Czy dołączycie do mnie w tej modlitwie??

There is a prayer that God is daily putting on my heart for the Polish people: may they "taste the grace" of God.

The amazing truth is that Christianity is not based on what WE DO but on what JESUS has ALREADY DONE. Jesus is our high priest who shed His blood so that we can enter into the very presence of God (Hebrews 10:19-22). We have unlimited access to the King of the universe at any moment of the day! The veil is torn -- we can enjoy a loving relationship with God our Father! We don't have to worry and try so hard to earn our salvation. We are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), made possible by Jesus who loves us with an intense and enduring love. Hallelujah!

When you have a taste of God's grace, your heart melts and His love overwhelms you. This is what I pray for every Polish man and woman, boy and girl. Would you join me in this prayer??

Lift the Banner (Podnieście sztandar)

Trudno uwierzyć w to, co wydarzyło się w Polsce. Oglądam wiadomości, czytam artykuły, koresponduję z wieloma z Was i wciąż wydaje mi się to nierealne. Moje serce płacze z Wami.

Modląc się, prośmy, aby Bóg przyniósł swoje pocieszenie, zwłaszcza dla rodzin tych, którzy zginęli, ale także dla całego narodu. Módlmy się za przywódców w Polsce, szczególnie za premierem Donaldem Tuskiem i p.o. Prezydenta Bronisławem Komorowskim. Módlmy się o ducha pokory, współpracy i uczciwości, tak aby mogli dowodzić z mądrością i prawością. Módlmy się o stabilność i ochronę dla polskiego rządu. Niech ludzie, którzy zostaną wybrani na poszczególne urzędy w bliskiej przyszłości, będą ludźmi prawdy.

Poprzedniego wieczoru dołączyłam do kilku przyjaciół, by ponownie
oglądać "Katyń". Modliliśmy się za Polskę i o relacje panujące między
Polską i Rosją. Módlmy się, aby Bóg zainicjował proces odbudowy,
bez względu na to, jak trudny może on być.

Przede wszystkim, módlmy się, aby imię Jezusa zostało wyniesione
jako sztandar ponad Polską. Czytajmy te słowa z Psalmu 60.
- być może mogą odnosić się do Polski?

Boże, który nas odrzuciłeś, złamałeś,
I gniewałeś się na nas -- odnów nas!
Wstrząsnąłeś ziemią, rozdarłeś ją,
Napraw rozpadliny jej, bo się chwieją!
Lud swój wystawiłeś na ciężką próbę,
Napoiłeś nas winem odurzającym.
Dałeś SZTANDAR tym, którzy się ciebie boją,
Aby uciekli od łuku. (Psalm 60; 3-6)

Modlę się, abyście w tym całym zamieszaniu, które panuje
w Polsce, mieli odwagę i wrażliwość, by podnieść sztandar
z imieniem Jezusa. Kiedy smucicie się wraz ze swoimi rodakami,
modlę się, aby Duch Boży dał Wam we właściwym
czasie słowo nadziei, by przemówić.

Moi przyjaciele ze Stanów przesyłają Wam swoje współczucie,
modlitwy i miłość, drodzy bracia i siostry w Polsce!


It is difficult to believe what has happened in Poland. Each day I am watching the news, reading articles, corresponding with many of you, but still it does not seem real. My heart grieves with you.

As we pray, let us pray that God will bring comfort, especially for the families of those who perished, but also for the nation as a whole.

Let us pray for the leadership of Poland, especially for Prime Minister Tusk and Acting President Bronislaw Komorowski. Let us pray for all those in leadership, that there will be a spirit of humility, cooperation, and honesty, and that they will lead with wisdom and integrity. Let us pray for stability and protection over Poland's government. May all those who are elected to office in the near future be people of truth.

Last night I joined some friends to watch "Katyn" once again. We prayed for Poland and for the relations between Poland and Russia. Let us pray that God will begin the process of restoration, however difficult that process might be.

Most of all let us pray that the name of Jesus will be lifted as a banner over the people of Poland. Read these words from Psalm 60 -- maybe they can apply to Poland?:

O God, you have cast us off; You have broken us down;
You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!
You have made the earth tremble;
You have broken it;
Heal its branches, for it is shaking.
You have shown your people hard things;
You have made us drink the wine of confusion.
You have given a BANNER to those who fear you,
that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Psalm 60:1-4)

I pray in the midst of all the confusion in Poland, that you will have the courage and sensitivity to lift the banner of the name of Jesus. As you grieve alongside your compatriots, I pray the Spirit of God will give you, at just the right time, a word of hope to speak.

My friends in the States send sympathy, prayers, and love to you, our dear brothers and sisters in Poland.

Byłam zszokowana i zasmucona, kiedy obudziłam się dziś rano
w Michigan i zobaczyłam w wiadomościach informację o tragicznej śmierci Waszego Prezydenta i czołowych urzędników. Ciągle jeszcze drżę wewnątrz. Wiedzcie, że tutaj w USA modlimy się za Was i za Wasz kraj. Przesyłamy Wam nasze najgłębsze współczucie i miłość.

Modlę się, aby Bóg Was chronił, podtrzymywał i rozjaśnił
Swoje oblicze nad Wami, był dla Was łaskawy i dał Wam pokój.
Modlę się, aby żadna broń skierowana przeciwko Wam, nie była
w stanie zadziałać. Modlę się, abyście w swoim bólu skierowali
oczy na Jedynego, który jest Mocną Twierdzą. Modlę się, aby
w Polsce zapanowało poczucie porządku i jedności wśród obecnych
przywódców i aby stabilność została szybko osiągnięta. Modlę się,
aby ta tragedia zjednoczyła Polaków w modlitwie przed Bogiem
i aby Jego łaska wniosła odnowienie i nadzieję.

O, Boże, nie wiemy, co robić, ale nasze oczy są skupione na Tobie!

Pan będzie walczył za Was, wy tylko milczcie (II Ks. Mojżeszowa 14;14).
A jednak, Panie, Ty jestes dla mnie tarcza, Tys chwala moja
i Ty mi glowe podnosisz (Ps. 3;4)

I was so shocked and saddened when I woke up this morning
in Michigan and saw the news about the tragic death of your
President and leading officials. I am still shaking inside. Please
know that we here in the States are praying for you and for your
country. We send you our deepest sympathy and our love.

I am praying that God will protect you, keep you, shine His face
on you, be gracious to you, and give you peace. I pray that no
weapon fashioned against you will prosper. I pray that in your
grief you will fix your eyes on the One who is our Strong Tower.
I pray that there will be a sense of order and unity among those
now in leadership and that stability will quickly be established.
I pray that this tragedy will bring the people of Poland together
in prayer before God and that in His mercy He will restore and
bring hope.

David in Poland and I in Michigan will join you this week in
prayer, fasting, and mourning for your country.
O God, we don't know what to do, but our eyes are on you!

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the
One who lifts up my head (Psalm 3:3).

He is Risen! (On Zmartwychwstal!)

This weekend we celebrate the incredible reality that Jesus died and rose again. Death could not keep Him in the grave! He is the firstborn from the dead. He is alive and seated at the right hand of the throne of God! All praise to the Lamb who was slain! He alone is worthy!

Let us pray that the people of Poland will experience the life-changing power of Jesus' resurrection in their lives. How amazing it is that God takes what is dead and makes it alive. May God bring life to marriages, to families, to situations that seem dead and hopeless. May God breathe new life to hearts that are disillusioned and filled with despair. May He replace anger with peace, grief with joy, despair with hope. O God, bring new life to Poland!

I pray that you will have a very blessed holiday with family and friends. May we spend these days in celebration and thanksgiving before our triumphant God. Jesus is risen! Hallelujah!!
