He Exists (On żyje)

Przypuszczam, że na przestrzeni wieków zawsze istnieli ludzie, którzy nie wierzyli w Boga. Wychowałam się jednak w Środkowo-Zachodniach Stanach Zjednoczonych, gdzie sydawało się, że każdy wierzy w Boga, a chodzenie do kościoła było stylem życia. Ale czasy się zmieniają. Być może nie chodzi o to, że jest więcej osób niewierzących, ale z pewnością zaczęli oni głośno wypowiadać swoją opinię. Na przykład w tym tygodniu David Silverman i organizacja American Atheists dołączyli do The Freedom From Religion Foundation, by wyrazić swój sprzeciw dla powstania Pomnika Holokaustu w Ohio, gdyż znajduje się na nim żydowska Gwiazda Dawida. Przekonują oni, że ten religijny symbol nadaje Holokaustowi charakter (wyłącznie) żydowski i narusza prawa innych grup, które ucierpiały z rąk nazistów. A to właśnie jeden z ich celów: obrona praw ateistów i usuwanie ekspresji wiary z przestrzeni publicznej.

Zdaję sobie sprawę, że Polska jest krajem w przeważającej mierze katolickim i dlatego zastanawiałam się, czy grupy ateistyczne podniosły głos także w Waszym kraju. Poszukałam nieco w sieci i okazało się, że owszem. Pojawiają się billboardy z napisem: "Nie wierzysz w Boga? Nie jesteś sam," organizuje się marsze, pisze blogi i utworzono nawet stronę na Facebooku (Polscy Ateiści).

Niestety, duch niewiary nie ogranicza się jedynie do świata politycznej aktywności. Młode osoby dorosłe, które kiedyś wiernie uczęszczały do kościołów i wzywały Pana, dziś zaczynają wątpić, podważając nawet istnienie Boga. Duch subtelnego (i nie tylko subtelnego) zwiedzenia zaczął przenikać nasze społeczeństwo w każdej sferze.

Nie czujmy się przytłoczeni przez te trendy, ale raczej trwajmy na kolanach przed jedynym prawdziwym Bogiem, Stwórcą nieba i ziemi. Szukajmy Jego oblicza jak nigdy dotąd, prosząc Go o pogłębienie naszej wiary. Bez wiary zaś nie można podobać się Bogu; kto bowiem przystępuje do Boga, musi uwierzyć, że On istnieje i że nagradza tych, którzy go szukają (Hebr. 11;6). Musimy być ludźmi, którzy "wiedzą, że wiedzą," że Bóg jest prawdziwy i działa w naszym świecie. Módlmy się przeciw zwodniczym duchom, które chcą zniszczyć naszą młodzież i zwieść wielu. Módlmy się, aby Bóg w swojej wielkiej łasce przywiódł wielu do pokuty, bo wciąż jest na to czas. Boże, wzmocnij naszą wiarę!

Przemowa Pawła w Atenach (gdy jego duch został poruszony tym, że miasto jest oddane bożkom):
Bóg, który stworzył świat i wszystko, co na nim, Ten, będąc Panem nieba i ziemi, nie mieszka w świątyniach ręką zbudowanych ani też nie służy mu się rękami ludzkimi, jak gdyby czego potrzebował, gdyż sam daje wszystkim życie i tchnienie, i wszystko. Z jednego pnia wywiódł też wszystkie narody ludzkie, aby mieszkały na całym obszarze ziemi, ustanowiwszy dla nich wyznaczone okresy czasu i granice ich zamieszkania, żeby szukały Boga, czy go może nie wyczują i nie znajdą, bo przecież nie jest On daleko od każdego z nas. Albowiem w nim żyjemy i poruszamy się, i jesteśmy, jak to i niektórzy z waszych poetów powiedzieli: Z jego bowiem rodu jesteśmy. Będąc więc z rodu Bożego, nie powinniśmy sądzić, że bóstwo jest podobne do złota albo srebra, albo do kamienia, wytworu sztuki i ludzkiego umysłu. Bóg wprawdzie puszczał płazem czasy niewiedzy, teraz jednak wzywa wszędzie wszystkich ludzi, aby się upamiętali, gdyż wyznaczył dzień, w którym będzie sądził świat sprawiedliwie przez męża, którego ustanowił, potwierdzając to wszystkim przez wskrzeszenie go z martwych. (Dz. Ap. 17;24-31)

I suppose throughout the ages there have alwyas been people who do not believe in God. But as a child growing up in Midwest USA in the 1960's, it seemed that everyone believed in God and going to church was a way of life. But times have changed. Maybe it's not so much that there are more unbelievers, it's just that they have become more vocal. For example, this week David Silverman and the "American Atheists" organization have joined with the "Freedom from Religion Foundation" to oppose a Holocaust Memorial in Ohio that features the Jewish "Star of David." They argue that this religious symbol makes the Holocaust a "Jewish" thing and violates the rights of all other groups who suffered at the hands of the Nazis. And this is part of their goal: to defend the rights of atheists and to remove expressions of religion from public places.

Realizing that Poland is predominantly Catholic, I wondered if atheist groups were "making noise" in your country, as well. After a bit of online research, I discovered that yes, indeed, they are raising their voice in Poland. Billboards have appeared ("Don't believe in God? You're not alone"), marches have been organized, blogs have been written, and there's even a Facebook page (Atheists from Poland - Polscy Ateiści).

Unfortunately, this spirit of disbelief is not limited to the world of political activism. Young adults who once faithfully attended our churches and called upon the Lord are now doubting their faith - even doubting the very existence of God. A spirit of subtle (and not so subtle) deception has begun to permeate our society at every level.

Rather than be overwhelmed by such trends, let us be on our knees before the one true God, the maker of heaven and heart. Let us seek His face like never before, asking Him to deepen our faith. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6). We must be people who "know that we know" that God is real and that He is alive and active in our world. Let us pray against the deceiving spirits that would want to destroy our youth and lead many astray. Let us pray that God in His great mercy will lead many to repentance while there is still time. O God, increase our faith!

Paul's address in Athens (as his spirit was provoked, seeing that the city was given over to idols):
"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.' Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a Day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." (Acts 17:24-31)

Reconstruction (Odbudowa)

Sięgam pamięcią do lat 90., kiedy po raz pierwszy zwiedzałam Muzeum Historyczne m. st. Warszawy przy Rynku Starego Miasta. Oglądaliśmy wtedy film pokazujący Warszawę sprzed czasów II wojny światowej, podczas niej oraz po jej zakończeniu. Byłam wstrząśnięta rozmiarem spustoszenia – 85% warszawskich budynków zostało zniszczonych. Stare Miasto było stertą gruzu. Jednak od razu po zakończeniu wojny Polacy natychmiast zaczęli usuwać gruzy i rozpoczęli odbudowę. Nigdy nie zapomnę chwili, kiedy wychodziłam z muzeum, z ciągle świeżymi w pamięci czarno-białymi obrazami Warszawy, które ostro kontrastowały z okalającymi Rynek uroczymi, wielokolorowymi, oświetlonymi przez słońce budynkami. Wciąż podziwiam zdecydowanie Polaków, którzy przy pomocy łopat i wiader, wykazując determinację i oddanie, odbudowali swoje miasto. Dziś mamy 60. rocznicę tych wydarzeń, gdyż 22. lipca 1953 roku zakończono pierwszą fazę odbudowy warszawskiego Starego Miasta.
 

Kiedy dziś spoglądamy na Polskę, widzimy nowoczesny, rozwijający się naród. Ale co znajdziemy, gdy zajrzymy głębiej w ludzkie życie? Zrujnowane małżeństwa, zniweczone marzenia, utraconą gwałtownie wiarę i ruiny złamanych serc, które zaśmiecają krajobraz. Żaden ludzki wysiłek nie jest w stanie wskrzesić życia z tych ruin. Jest tylko jedna Osoba, która może odbudować małżeństwo, wzbudzić na nowo nadzieję, zapalić wiarę i odbudować serce, a Jej imię to Jezus. Choć odbudowa Warszawy była czymś zdumiewającym, to jednak Boża moc do odbudowywania ludzkiego życia jest zdecydowanie większa. Módlmy się, aby ta moc zawładnęła polskim narodem. Módlmy się, aby ludzie, których życie jest zrujnowane, zwrócili się do Jezusa i pozwolili mu usunąć gruzy i rozpocząć odbudowę. Módlmy się też, aby ci z nas, którzy naśladują Jezusa, ochoczo, z oddaniem i determinacją, chwycili za łopaty i wiadra i byli używani przez Boga, aby wnosić nadzieję i odbudowę dla cierpiących wokół nas ludzi.
 

I remember back in the 90's when I first visited the Warsaw History Museum at the Old Town square. We watched a film showing Warsaw before, during, and after WWII. I was shocked to see the level of destruction -- 85% of Warsaw's buildings were destroyed. The Old Town was a pile of rubble. And yet once the War was over, the Polish people immediately began removing the debris and rebuilding. I will never forget walking out of the museum, the black-and-white images still fresh in my mind, and being struck with the contrast as the sun illuminated the charming, multi-colored buildings lining the square in front of me. I still marvel at the resolve of the Poles who, with shovels and pails, loyalty and determination, rebuilt their city. Today is the 60th anniversary of part of that process as on July 22, 1953, the first phase of the reconstruction of Warsaw's Old Town was complete.

Today when we look at Poland we see a modern, progressive nation. Yet when we take a deeper look into the lives of the people what can we find? Marriages that are in ruins, dreams that have been shattered, faith that has collapsed, and the rubble of broken hearts that litter the landscape. No amount of human effort can resurrect life from these ruins. There is only One who can rebuild a marriage, revive hope, reignite faith, and restore a heart -- his name is Jesus. As remarkable as Warsaw's restoration was, the power of God to restore and rebuild lives is greater by far. Let us pray that this power will sweep through the nation of Poland. Let us pray that those whose lives are in ruins will turn to Jesus and allow Him to clear the debris and begin to rebuild. And let us pray that those of us who follow Jesus will gladly pick up our shovels and pails, and with loyalty and determination, be used of God to bring hope and restoration to the hurting people around us.

Tisha B'Av

 

Od zachodu słońca w poniedziałek (15. lipca) do zachodu słońca we wtorek (16. lipca) jest święto Tisza be Aw (dziewiąty dzień hebrajskiego miesiąca aw). To dzień postu i żałoby, kiedy Żydzi wspominają zburzenie Pierwszej Świątyni w 586r. p.n.e. oraz Drugiej Świątyni w 70r. n.e., a także inne tragedie, których ich naród doświadczył w historii. To właśnie w dniu tego święta miało miejsce wygnanie Żydów z Anglii w 1290 roku oraz z Hiszpanii w 1492 przez Ferdynanda i Izabelę. 22. lipca 1942 - w przeddzień Tisza be Aw - obwieszczono, że od następnego dnia rozpoczną się masowe deportacje Żydów z getta warszawskiego do obozu zagłady.

 

Żydzi przestrzegający zasad tego święta rozpoczną post w poniedziałek rano i będą czytać Treny jako część swoich rozważań.

Jak już wielokrotnie pisałam, Żydzi i Polacy są ze sobą nieodłącznie związani. Ci z nas, którzy wzywają imienia Jezusa, żydowskiego Mesjasza, również zostali przyłączeni do Jego rodziny. Kiedyś pewien mądry wierzący Żyd powiedział mi, że aby służyć Żydom, musimy być gotowi dzielić ich smutek i nieść ich ból. Chciałabym zachęcić Was, abyście przeczytali w tym tygodniu Treny, myśleli o cierpieniu, przez które przeszli Żydzi i modlili się, aby znaleźli oni pociechę i nadzieję w Jezusie. Oby ich oczy zostały otwarte i rozpoznali Mesjasza; oby ich serca zostały zmiękczone na przyjęcie Jego łaski, a ich smutek zamieniony został w radość.

From sunset this Monday evening, July 15, to sunset on Tuesday, July 16, is Tisha B'Av (the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av). Tisha B'Av is a day of fasting and mourning as the Jewish people remember the destruction of the first temple in 586 B.C. and the second temple in A.D. 70, as well as other tragedies in the history of their people. It was on Tisha B'Av that England expelled the Jews in 1290 and Ferdinand and Isabella expelled them from Spain in 1492. On July 22, 1942, the eve of Tisha B'Av, the announcement was made that the mass deportation of the Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto to the extermination camp would begin the next day.

Observant Jews will begin their fast on Monday night and will read the book of Lamentations as part of their contemplation.

As I have written many times in this prayer email, Poland and the Jewish people are intrinsically connected. We who call upon the name of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, are also connected as part of His family. One wise Jewish believer once told me that in order to minister to the Jewish people, we must be willing to share in their sorrow and carry their pain. I would like to encourage each of us to read the book of Lamentations this week, to consider the suffering the Jewish people have endured, and to pray that they would find comfort and hope through Jesus. May their eyes be opened to recognize the Messiah, may their hearts be softened to receive His grace, and may their sorrow be turned to joy.

This MAN (Ten CZŁOWIEK)

Odwiedzamy z Davidem wiele kościołów w Stanach, opowiadając o naszej pracy w Polsce i pozyskując wsparcie dla polskich pastorów i służby. Kilka tygodni temu przemawiałam w kościele w Illinois. Po nabożeństwach rozmawiałam z małżeństwem, które wspiera naszą misję. Mężczyzna był Polakiem, a kiedy zapytałam go, skąd pochodzi, odpowiedział, że z Nowej Huty. Słyszałam już kiedyś o tym miejscu, ale chciałam dowiedzieć się więcej. Po powrocie do domu zaczęłam czytać i poszukiwać informacji.

Dowiedziałam się, że Nowa Huta została zbudowana na początku lat 50. XX wieku przez komunistyczne władze jako "idealne miasto" - ogromne centrum przemysłowe w pobliżu Krakowa, którego używano w celach propagandowych. W połowie lat 70. Huta im. Lenina produkowała już miliony ton stali, zatrudniając przy tym ponad 40 000 pracowników. Fabryka tytoniu oraz ogromna fabryka cementu zatrudniała kolejne 1 000 pracowników. Robotników zakwaterowano w blokach umiejscowionych naokoło Placu Centralnego. W 1976 roku wyemitowano (jakoś unikając cenzury) film Andrzeja Wajdy (znanego polskiego reżysera), który demaskował sowieckie skorumpowanie polityczne i stosowaną wówczas propagandę. Film – zatytułowany "CZŁOWIEK Z MARMURU" – opowiada historię fikcyjnego murarza z Nowej Huty, który staje się ikoną socjalizmu, ale ostatecznie upada i zostaje zapomniany przez system, tak samo jak pomniki, które kiedyś wniesiono ku jego czci. W 1981 roku wyemitowano "CZŁWIEKA Z ŻELAZA" Wajdy jako kontynuację "CZŁOWIEKA Z MARMUR"”, gdzie akcja przebiega na terenach Stoczni Gdańskiej, a jej tło stanowią początki ruchu "Solidarność".

W tym samym tygodniu, kiedy oglądałam "CZŁOWIEKA Z MARMURU", poszłam do kina na "CZŁOWIEKA ZE STALI" (widzę, że u Was też to wyświetlają). Superman, kolejny fikcyjny bohater, został stworzony przez parę nastolatków z Cleveland, Jerry Siegel oraz Joe Shuster. "Szybszy niż pędzące kule, silniejszy niż lokomotywa, zdolny przeskakiwać wysokie budynki jednym susem". Odważny i dobroduszny Superman posiada ponadnaturalne moce, które pozwalają mu walczyć o sprawiedliwość i moralność. Nic dziwnego, że Superman stał się kolejną ikoną kultury.

Widząc, że nasze społeczeństwa szukają wybawcy-bohatera, który przyniesie nadzieję zwykłym ludziom, módlmy się o objawienie MĘŻA (CZŁOWIEKA) BOLEŚCI. Nie był on efektem ludzkiego kreatywnego projektu, ale to On sam stworzył wszystko. Wszystko, co istnieje, zostało przez niego stworzone. Nawet w tej chwili, wszystko trzyma się dzięki Jego potężnemu słowu. To nie fikcyjna postać, ale ktoś, kto istniał jeszcze przed czasem i zamanifestował się w udokumentowanej historii, by na zawsze zmienić jej bieg. Choć był w pełni Bogiem i posiadał ponadnaturalne moce, chodził pokornie pośród ludzi. Nosił nasze choroby i nasze cierpienia wziął na siebie. Siedzi teraz w chwale po prawicy Ojca. Jest pierworodnym z umarłych. We wszystkim musi być pierwszy! (Iz. 53; Kol. 1; 15-18)

Niech oczy wszystkich ludzi będą zwrócone na tego najwspanialszego CZŁOWIEKA!

David and I travel to many churches in the States, informing them about our work in Poland and raising support for Polish pastors and ministry. A few weeks ago I spoke at a church in Illinois. After the services, I talked with a man and his wife who support our mission. He is Polish and when I asked where he is from, he responded "Nowa Huta." I had heard of this place, but wanted to know more. When I returned home, I began to read and research.   I learned that Nowa Huta was built in the early 1950's by the Communist government as an "ideal town" -- a large industrial center near Kraków used for propaganda purposes. By the 1970's, the Vladimir Lenin Steelworks, producing millions of tons of steel, employed more than 40,000 workers. A tobacco factory and huge cement factory employed thousands more. Industrial workers were housed in blocks of flats surrounding the great Central Square. In 1976 a film by Andrzej Wajda (a well-known Polish director) was somehow released that exposed the Soviet political corruption and use of propaganda. The film is entitled "MAN OF MARBLE" and tells the story of a fictional Polish bricklayer from Nowa Huta who becomes a Soviet icon, only to tumble and be forsaken by the system, just as the statues once made in his honor. In 1981, Andrzej Wajda's "MAN OF IRON" was released as a sequel to "MAN OF MARBLE," as the story progresses to the Gdańsk shipyards and the beginnings of the Solidarity movement. The same week that I watched "MAN OF MARBLE" I went to the theater and watched "MAN OF STEEL" (I see that it's showing in your theaters, as well). Superman, another fictional hero, was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, two teenage boys from Cleveland, Ohio. "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound," the brave, kind-hearted Superman possesses supernatural powers that enable him to fight for justice and morality. No wonder that Superman has become another cultural icon.   As our societies search for a deliverer, for a hero who can bring hope to the most common of men, let us pray for a revelation of the MAN OF SORROWS. This man was not the result of man's creative design, but He himself created all things. Nothing exists that He did not create. Even now, all things are held together by His powerful word. This is no fictional man, but one who existed before time, and yet appeared in documented history to change its course forever. Although wholly God and possessing supernatural power, He walked humbly among men. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. He poured out his soul unto death and now is seated at the right hand of the Father in glory. He is the firstborn from the dead. In all things he has the preeminence! (see Isaiah 53 and Colossians 1:15-18)   Oh, may the eyes of all people be fixed on this most glorious MAN!

Kościuszko

W poprzednim tygodniu pojechałam z moim synem na mecz baseballowy do Detroit. Kiedy szliśmy ulicą i skręciliśmy, nagle tuż przede mną zobaczyłam Polaka na koniu! Był to pomnik Tadeusza Kościuszki podarowany Detroit przez miasto Kraków (spójrzcie na załączone zdjęcie). Nie widziałam tego pomnika nigdy wcześniej i ucieszyłam się, że jest w naszym mieście.

Tadeusz Kościuszko, zainspirowany ideałami Thomasa Jeffersona dotyczącymi praw człowieka, przypłynął do Ameryki w 1776 roku i dołączył do naszych wojsk w wojnie o niepodległość. Jako wykwalifikowany inżynier Kościuszko budował i wzmacniał forty, łącznie z tym pod Saratogą i West Point. Później dołączył do generała Greene’a i poprowadził wojsko w bitwie przeciw Brytyjczykom. W 1783 roku Kongres Kontynentalny przyznał mu stopień generała brygady za jego znaczący wkład w dokonania wojenne.

W tym tygodniu, 4. lipca, obchodzimy w Stanach Dzień Niepodległości – dzień, w którym upamiętnia się założenie naszego narodu (1776) i świętuje wolność, którą nadal możemy się cieszyć. Wspomniany wcześniej pomnik przypomniał mi, ze Tadeusz Kościuszko, a także inni Polacy (np. gen. Kazimierz Pułaski, który zmarł na skutek ran odniesionych podczas walki z Brytyjczykami) odegrali kluczową rolę w narodzinach naszego narodu. Pomagali wzmocnić nasze wojska i walczyli z nami w wojnie o wolność.

W tym tygodniu proszę Was, drodzy przyjaciele z Polski, abyście jeszcze raz przyszli z pomocą dla naszego kraju. Jak być może czytaliście w prasie, pewne wartości i wolności, którymi długo się cieszyliśmy w naszym kraju, są zagrożone, a nawet się nam ich odmawia. Czy możecie się za nas modlić? Potrzebujemy Waszych modlitw, by nas wzmocniły, kiedy będziemy musieli zająć stanowisko w sprawie prawdy. Potrzebujemy, abyście byli obok nas w bitwie, która nie toczy się przeciwko ciału i krwi. Zdajemy sobie sprawę, że zmagacie się z wieloma podobnymi kwestiami, więc zbierzmy wspólne siły i wspierajmy się nawzajem w czasie tych burzliwych dni. Nasza nadzieja jest w Bogu, który z pewnością będzie rządził zwycięsko.

W końcu, bracia moi, umacniajcie się w Panu i w potężnej mocy jego. Przywdziejcie całą zbroję Bożą, abyście mogli ostać się przed zasadzkami diabelskimi. Gdyż bój toczymy nie z krwią i z ciałem, lecz z nadziemskimi władzami, ze zwierzchnościami, z władcami tego świata ciemności, ze złymi duchami w okręgach niebieskich. Dlatego weźcie całą zbroję Bożą, abyście mogli stawić opór w dniu złym i, dokonawszy wszystkiego, ostać się. (Efezj. 6; 10-13) Czuwajcie, trwajcie w wierze, bądźcie mężni, bądźcie mocni. Wszystko niech się dzieje u was w miłości. (I Kor. 16; 13-14)

Last week I drove downtown Detroit to go to a baseball game with my son. As we turned off the exit and headed down the street, there before me was a Polish man on a horse! Actually it was a statue of Tadeusz Kościuszko that the city of Kraków donated to Detroit (see attached photo). I had never seen this statue before but I was glad to know it was there in our city.

Tadeusz Kościuszko, inspired by Thomas Jefferson's ideals of human rights, sailed to America in 1776 and joined our troops in the fight for independence. A skilled engineer, Kościuszko built and fortified forts, including those at Saratoga and West Point. He later joined General Greene and led troops in the battle against the British. In 1783, the Continental Congress awarded him the rank of brigadier general for his significant contributions to the war effort.

This week on July 4 we celebrate "Independence Day" in the States -- a day to remember the founding of our nation (1776) and to celebrate the freedom that we still enjoy. This statue reminded me that Tadeusz Kościuszko, as well as other Poles (e.g., General Kazimierz Puławski who died from wounds inflicted while fighting the British), played a critical role in the birth of our nation. They helped fortify our troops and fought with us in the battle for freedom.

This week I am asking that you, our dear Polish friends, will once again come to the aid of our country. As you may have read in the news, the values and freedoms that we have long cherished in our country are being threatened and even denied. Will you pray for us? We need your prayers to "fortify" us as we take a stand for what is true. We need you to come alongside us in this battle that is not of flesh and blood. We realize that you are facing many of the same issues as well, so may we come together for the sake of the Kingdom and hold each other up in these turbulent days. Our hope is in God who will indeed reign victorious.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
