Módlmy się, by kościoły w Polsce rozumiały odpowiedzialność modlitwy i
As I write this email, I am sitting in an apartment overlooking the city of
Jerusalem. All week my husband and I have
been in Israel, meeting and praying with Jewish
believers. As we have walked down the streets, we have noticed several
youth shopping at stores selling brightly-colored costumes. It is customary to
dress up in costumes and act out the story of Esther in celebration of Purim,
which is this Tuesday. Esther 9:20-28 reminds us that Haman tried to destroy
all the Jews, but they were delivered because Esther went boldly before the King
on their behalf. It is an amazing example of how God rescues his people when
they fast and pray.
Being here in Israel with Jewish believers has reminded us that God has
been faithful to preserve the Jewish people throughout the centuries. Satan has
raised up many "Haman's" to try to destroy the Jews (e.g., Pharaoh, Herod,
Hitler), yet the Jews still exist today. Not only do they exist, but the nation
of Israel is strong, and 1,000's of believing Jews live in the Land.
Let us pray that the churches in Poland will
realize their responsibility to bless and care for the Jewish people. Let us
pray against anti-semitism and that Poland will be a friendly and safe place for
the Jews. Let us pray for revival among the Jewish people. Let us pray that
they will realize that the God who delivered the Persian
Jews at the time of Esther has delivered all mankind through His Son --
Yeshua, the Messiah.
