Tragedy

As you may already know, Poland has just suffered another major tragedy. On Saturday evening, 2 passenger trains collided head-on, killing 16 and injuring several more. An American woman was killed in the crash which has prompted friends of ours in Poland to contact me as they were afraid that I was on that train. Actually, I took a similar train on Friday afternoon, traveling 5 hours to southern Poland. We travel on trains constantly while in Poland, and it never occurs to us that a collision like this could occur. President Komorowski has declared today and tomorrow as days of national mourning. Polish flags are flying with black ribbons attached and many public events have been canceled. Please join us in praying for the families of those who perished as well as for those who are hospitalized, many of them in serious condition. I am now in Warsaw for 2 days before traveling by train to Ostróda on Wednesday. I just came from a weekend with CSM (school of music/worship) -- and it was a very blessed time. I had the privilege to teach 4 main sessions and God was so faithful to minister among us. Thank you for your prayers!!
