Three Important Events (Trzy Ważne Wydarzenia)

W tym tygodniu mają miejsce trzy ważne wydarzenia. Chciałabym Was zachęcić do modlitwy za nie:

#1 W poniedziałek, 21. stycznia, odbędzie sie inauguracja drugiej kadencji prezydenta Obamy. Nasz naród nie jest zjednoczony, jeśli chodzi o minione wybory i bardzo potrzebujemy modliwy na przyszłe 4 lata. Proszę, módlcie się, by prezydent Obama szukał mądrości u Boga Abrahama, Izaaka i Jakuba oraz podejmował decyzje, które podtrzymują wartości biblijne.

Błogosławiony mąż, który polega na Panu, którego ufnością jest Pan! (Ks. Jeremiasza 17;7)

#2 We wtorek, 22. stycznia, odbędą się wybory w Izraelu. To decydujący moment dla tego małego kraju, otoczonego przez narody pogrążone w chaosie. Kilka z tych narodów jest zdeterminowanych, by doprowadzić do zniszczenia Izraela. Módlcie się również, aby izraelscy przywódcy wzywali Świętego Izraelskiego i jedynie w Nim pokładali swoją ufność.

Błogosławiony lud, który umie się radować I chodzi w światłości oblicza twego, Panie. Z imienia twego raduje się każdy dzień, A sprawiedliwość twoja wywyższa ich, Bo Ty jesteś blaskiem mocy ich, A z życzliwości twojej podnosi się siła nasza. Do Pana bowiem należy tarcza nasza, A król nasz do Świętego Izraela. (Psalm 89; 16-19)

#3 W niedzielę, 27. stycznia, obchodzimy Międzynarodowy Dzień Pamięci o Holokauście. Wspominając wyzwolenie obozu w Auschwitz-Birkenau w 1945 roku, módlmy się przeciw duchowi rasizmu i antysemityzmu. Módlmy się o osoby, które przeżyły Holokaust, aby Bóg uleczył ich rany, zatroszczył się o ich potrzeby, dał im nadzieję i otworzył ich oczy na Mesjasza. Módlmy się, aby wszelka ciemność pochodząca z przeszłości Polski została przyprowadzona do Światła, tak aby Polska mogła odnaleźć prawdziwe wyzwolenie i spełnić wszystkie cele Bożego Królestwa.

Niech ci błogosławi Pan i niechaj cię strzeże; niech rozjaśni Pan oblicze swoje nad tobą i niech ci miłościw będzie; niech obróci Pan twarz swoją ku tobie i niech ci da pokój. (IV ks. Mojżeszowa 6; 24-26)

This week there are 3 important events that I would like to encourage you to pray for.

#1 -- On Monday, January 21, President Obama will be inaugurated for his second term as President of the U.S. Our nation is not united over his election and we desperately need prayer as we head into the next 4 years. Please pray that President Obama will seek wisdom from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and that he will make decisions that uphold biblical values.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. (Jeremiah 17:7)
 

#2 -- On Tuesday, January 22, elections will be held in Israel. This is a critical time for that small country, surrounded by nations in turmoil, several of which are intent on Israel's destuction. Pray also that Israel's leadership will call on the Holy One of Israel and put their trust solely in Him.

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength and in Your favor our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the Lord, and our king to the Holy One of Israel. (Psalm 89:15-18)

#3 -- Sunday, January 27, is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. As we remember the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945, let us pray against the spirits of racism and anti-semitism. Let us pray for the survivors of the Holocaust that God will heal their wounds, provide for their needs, give them hope, and open their eyes to the Messiah. Let us pray that all the darkness in Poland's past will be brought to the Light so that Poland may find true liberation and fulfill all of God's Kingdom purposes.

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
