Seasons (Pory roku)

Lato już prawie się skończyło, nadchodzi kolejna pora roku. Kończą się też wakacje i dzieci wracają do szkoły. Wkrótce zrobi się chłodniej, a dni staną się krótsze. Wszystko to jest częścią cyklu, który zarządził Bóg.

Potem rzekł Bóg: Niech powstaną światła na sklepieniu niebios, aby oddzielały dzień od nocy i były znakami dla oznaczania pór, dni i lat! (Gen. 1;14)

Bóg jest wierny. Jeśli Mu się poddajemy, przeprowadza nas przez porę umierania i porę odnowy, porę niedostatku i porę obfitości, porę na puszczy i porę na szczytach gór. Trzyma nasze życie w swoich rękach i z miłością przekształca nas na swój obraz.

Oby nastała dla nas nowa pora poszukiwania Boga bardziej niż kiedykolwiek. Oby nastała nowa pora dla kościołów w Polsce, kiedy będziemy poddawać się Jezusowi jako Głowie i czynić go centrum wszystkiego.

Summer is almost over. A new season is upon us. Vacations are over and children are headed back to school. The temperature will soon be cooler and the days shorter. It's all part of the cycle that God has ordained.

Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; ..." (Gen. 1:14)

God is faithful. As we yield to Him, He takes us through seasons of dying and seasons of renewal, seasons of want and seasons of plenty, seasons in the wilderness and seasons on the mountain top ... He holds our lives in His hands and lovingly conforms us into His image. Whatever "season" you may be in, may you be encouraged to keep going along the path of righteousness with your eyes fixed on the Faithful One. May this be a new season for each of us as we seek God more than ever before. May it also be a new season for the churches in Poland as we submit to Jesus as the Head and make Him the center of it all.
