Possible with God (Możliwe jest u Boga)

W tym tygodniu przypomniałam sobie o niebezpiecznych konsekwencjach
nadużywania alkoholu. To problem występujący na całym świecie i Polska z
pewnością nie jest wyjątkiem. Wielu Polaków jest uwikłanych w
niszczycielskich sidłach alkoholizmu. Czy możecie dołączyć do mnie i
Davida w tym tygodniu i modlić się, aby Bóg przyniósł uzdrowienie dla
niezliczonych osób i rodzin, które cierpią z powodu skutków nadużywania
alkoholu?

"I dam wam serce nowe, i ducha nowego dam do waszego wnętrza, i usunę z
waszego ciała serce kamienne, a dam wam serce mięsiste." (Ezechiela 36;
26) [ te słowa były wypowiedziane do Izraela, ale módlmy się, aby Bóg
uczynił to samo dla tych ludzi, których serca są poddane alkoholowi].

"Siedzieli w ciemności i mroku,
Związani nędzą i żelazem,
Ponieważ sprzeciwili się słowom Bożym
I pogardzili radą Najwyższego.
Serce ich upokorzył trudem;
Słaniali się, a nikt nie pomógł.
I wołali do Pana w swej niedoli,
A On wybawił ich z utrapienia.
Wyprowadził ich z ciemności i z mroku,
A więzy ich rozerwał.
Niechaj wysławiają Pana za łaskę jego
I za cuda jego dla synów ludzkich!
Ponieważ skruszył bramy spiżowe
I połamał zasuwy żelazne." (Psalm 107; 10-16)

"Co niemożliwe jest u ludzi, możliwe jest u Boga." (Łukasza 18;27)

This week I have been reminded of the dangerous consequences of alcohol
abuse. It is a worldwide problem and Poland is obviously no exception.
Many Polish people are trapped in the destructive grip of alcoholism.
This week would you please join Dave and me as we pray that God would
bring restoration to countless individuals and families who are suffering
from the effects of alcoholic behavior?

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove
your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)
[spoken to Israel, but let us pray that God will do the same for those
who have surrendered their hearts to alcohol]

Some sat in darkness and the deepest gloom,
prisoners suffering in iron chains,
for they had rebelled against the words of God
and despised the counsel of the Most High.
