W tym tygodniu chciałabym Was po prostu zachęcić, abyście skierowali swój umysł
na Pana.
Księga Izajasza 26; 3-4:
Temu, którego umysł jest stały,
zachowujesz pokój, pokój mówię; bo tobie zaufał. Ufajcie po wsze czasy Panu,
gdyż Pan jest skałą wieczną".
David i ja dużo podróżujemy. Dobrze jest,
kiedy przyjeżdżamy do domu i możemy "zatrzymać się" na trochę. W ten sam sposób,
nasz umysł jest nieustannie w ruchu, ciągle myśląc i planując, martwiąc się i
wątpiąc; jest rozpraszany i niespokojny. Ale Bóg mówi, że osoba, której umysł
jest "stały" - skupiony, odpoczywający i nie odbiegający gdzieś indziej - takiej
osobie będzie "zachowany pokój". Wow! Chcę doświadczyć tego doskonałego
pokoju.
Boże, chwalę Cię jako moje wieczne źródło siły. Proszę, naucz
mnie mieć stały umysł.
This week I
simply want to encourage you to set your
mind on the Lord.
Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is "stayed" on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the
Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
David
and I travel so much. It is nice when we arrive home and we can "stay" there
for a while. In the same way, our minds are always on the move; constantly
thinking and planning, worrying and doubting, becoming distracted and anxious.
Yet God says that the person whose mind is "stayed" on Him -- focused, resting,
not going anywhere else -- this person will be "kept" in perfect peace. Wow! I
want to experience this perfect peace.
God, I praise You as my
everlasting source of strength. Please train me to "stay" my mind on You!
