Jeden z moich ulubionych klasycznych hymnów bożonarodzeniowych zaczyna się tymi
słowami:
Raduj się, świecie, przyszedł Pan!
Niech zabrzmi chwały
pieśń.
(po angielsku: Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth
receive her King! Niech ziemia przyjmie swojego Króla!)
Dwa krótkie
wersy, ale pełne znaczenia i mocy! Jezus, Pan wszelkiego stworzenia, przyszedł
na świat, by pociągnąć nas do Ojca. Oto powód, by się radować! On jest Królem,
który przyjdzie ponownie, by panować na ziemi. Módlmy się, aby każdy mężczyzna,
kobieta i dziecko w Polsce i każdym innym narodzie poznali "miłości Bożej cud"
i chętnie przyjęli Króla.

Two short
lines, yet so full of meaning and power! Jesus, the Lord of all creation, has
entered our world to restore us to the Father. There is reason to rejoice! He
is the King who is coming again to reign over all the earth. Let us pray that
every man, woman, and child in Poland and throughout the nations will encounter
the "wonders of His love" and gladly receive their King.
