Fire of Your Spirit (Ogień Twojego Ducha)

Boże, Obchodząc Święto Tygodni (Zielone Świątki), pamiętamy o Twoich wielkich dziełach, które czyniłeś dla Swoich ludzi. Czy ześlesz Twojego Ducha Świętego, jak to uczyniłeś w Jerozolimie dwa tysiące lat temu? Czy wylejesz Swego Ducha tak, by narody ziemi mogły usłyszeć i uwierzyć w dobrą nowinę o Jezusie? Czy powiejesz wiatrem Twojego Ducha w Polsce, przynosząc ludziom nadzieję i nowe życie? Ześlesz ogień Twojego Ducha, by ponownie rozpalić gorącą miłość i pasję dla Twego Syna Jezusa? Boże, porusz serce Twojego ludu w Polsce, by łaknęli i pragnęli Cię coraz więcej. Podaruj pastorom nową wizję, nową siłę, nowe współczucie, nowe pragnienie, by służyć Tobie i Twoim ludziom. Wzbudź w kościołach ducha jedności, abyś mógł czerpać całą chwałę z naszej wzajemnej miłości. Niech wzmaga się uwielbienie, niech wzmaga się modlitwa, niech wzmaga się świętość. Boże, usłysz nasze wołanie za Polskę i ześlij Swego Ducha w obfitości. Modlimy się w potężnym imieniu Twojego Syna i naszego Zbawcy, Jezusa. Amen.

 

Dear God, As we celebrate the festival of Shavuot (Day of Pentecost), we are reminded of Your mighty acts on behalf of Your people. Would you please send Your Holy Spirit as You did in Jerusalem two millennia ago? Would you pour out Your Spirit so that the nations of the earth could hear and believe the good news about Jesus? Would you blow a fresh wind of Your Spirit across Poland, bringing hope and new life to the people? Would you send the fire of Your Spirit to rekindle a burning love and passion for Your Son Jesus? O God, would You stir the hearts of Your people in Poland so that they will hunger and thirst for more of You? Give the pastors new vision, new energy, new compassion, new desire to serve You and Your people. Give the churches a spirit of unity so that as we love each other, You will receive all the glory. May there be an increase in worship, an increase in prayer, an increase in holiness. O God, hear our cry for the nation of Poland and send Your Spirit in greater measure. We pray this prayer in the powerful name of Your Son and our Savior, Jesus. Amen.
