Kiedy drży ziemia i huczą huragany; kiedy srożą się wojny i upadają gospodarki; kiedy moralność umyka i prawda zaciera się, istnieje Jedyny, który jest pewny i niezmienny. On jest naszą Nadzieją. On jest naszą Skałą. Złóżmy naszą ufność jedynie w Nim.
Bóg jest ucieczką i siłą naszą, Pomocą w utrapieniach najpewniejszą.
Przeto się nie boimy, choćby ziemia zadrżała I góry zachwiały się w głębi mórz.
Choćby szumiały, choćby pieniły się wody, Choćby drżały góry z powodu gniewu jego.
... Pan Zastępów jest z nami, Warownym grodem jest nam Bóg Jakuba.

Bóg jest wielki. Bóg jest dobry. Jestem wdzięczna.
As earthquakes shake and hurricanes roar, as wars rage and economies falter, as morals slide and truth blurs, there is only One who is sure and unchanging. He is our Hope. He is our Rock. Let us put our trust in Him alone.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
