Biorę dziś przeciwko wam na świadków niebo i ziemię. Położyłem dziś przed tobą życie i śmierć, błogosławieństwo i przekleństwo. Wybierz przeto życie, abyś żył, ty i twoje potomstwo, miłując Pana, Boga twego, słuchając jego głosu i lgnąc do niego, gdyż w tym jest twoje życie i przedłużenie twoich dni, abyś mieszkał na ziemi, którą Pan przysiągł dać twoim ojcom, Abrahamowi, Izaakowi i Jakubowi. (V Mojż. 30;19-20)
Kiedy naród izraelski miał wejść do Ziemi Obiecanej, Mojżesz gorąco wezwał ich do miłości i posłuszeństwa Bogu, aby mogli mieć długie i błogosławione życie. W tym tygodniu módlmy się o to samo dla Polaków: wybierzcie przeto życie!
Przesłanie jest proste i jasne dla każdego z nas:
Kochaj Boga.
Bądź posłuszny Jego głosowi.
Lgnij do Niego.
Bo ON jest naszym życiem.
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

As the people of Israel were about to enter the land God had promised to them, Moses pleaded with them to love and obey God so that their lives would be long and blessed. This week let us pray the same for the people of Poland: choose life!
The message is simple and clear for each of us:
Love God
Obey His voice
Cling to Him
For HE is our life.
